NORFOLK, Va. – As the regular season nears its end, The Old Dominion (3-9-1, 1-4-1 C-USA) men’s soccer team will hit the road once again as they visit UNCG (7-8-1, 5-1-0 SoCon) on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. The Monarchs are coming off a tough 1-0 loss to #17 Charlotte Sunday night.
Deniz Dogan continues to lead the Monarchs offensively with four goals and one assist on the season. Defensively, Djibril Doumbia leads the team notching 46 saves this season.
Head coach Alan Dawson returns to UNCG, where earned his masters and began his coaching career as a graduate assistant from 1984-86.
