NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion (1-3-1, 0-0-1 C-USA) men’s soccer team will hit the road for the first time this season as they visit #22 FIU on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 7 p.m. The Monarchs are coming off a 3-1 win over VCU on Tuesday night, which marked their first victory of the season.
Deniz Dogan is coming off a two-goal game against VCU. He currently leads the squad offensively with eight points. Defensively, Djibirl Doumbia has made 21 saves this season and tabbed his first career win on Tuesday night.
About FIU
The Panthers are undefeated this season. Most recently, they came to a 1-1 draw against UNF. Alessandro Campoy leads the Panthers offensively with three goals and two assists this season.
Last season, ODU shutout the Panthers, 3-0 at home. Overall, FIU holds a 5-3-0 mark over the Monarchs.
