2016-17: Qualified for his fourth-straight NCAA Championship at 184 lbs., entering as the No. 8 seed. Went 2-2 at nationals, defeating No. 9 seed Nathan Jackson of Indiana before falling to back-to-back NCAA Champions Gabe Dean of Cornell and Myles Martin of Ohio State in tiebreakers... Captured his third MAC Championship... Runner-up at Midlands... Posted a 16-1 dual meet record and defeated 10 nationally-ranked foes... Led the team in wins, points and decisions... Named to the 2017 Academic All-MAC Wrestling Team for the second consecutive year... Ranks 11th on the school''s all-time wins list with 110 career victories. 

2015-16: MAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete... Named to the 2015-16 MAC All-Academic Team and the NWCA All-Academic Team... Qualified for his third-straight NCAA Championships after earning second place at the MAC Championships... Went 3-2 at NCAAs, earning wins over Ville Heino of Campbell, Matt McCutcheon of Penn State and Jordan Ellingwood from Central Michigan... 2013-14: Earned All-American accolades after Finishing Fourth at the NCAA''s at 184 pounds as a redshirt freshman … Qualified for the NCAA Championships after winning the MAC Championships at 184 pounds and earning First-Team All-Conference accolades …  Seeded 13th at the NCAA''s … Finished the season 21-6 and 11-3 in duals … Defeated former All-American Ryan Loder twice (Northern Iowa) … Dechow advanced to the NCAA Semifinals after defeating Jon Fausey, 4-seeded Max Thomusseit, 12-seed Ophir Bernstein and 7-seed Kevin Steinhaus … Began the year 5-1 after defeating Alex Utley (UNC) and Jackson Hein (Wisconsin) … Also defeated nationally ranked Fred Garcia (Lock Haven) …  Tied for most major decision victories with 4 …  Scored a 3-1 victory over then-19th-ranked Jon Fausey of UVA …

2012-13: Finished redshirt campaign with a 35-12 record while competing at 184 …  Recorded three falls and five major decisions throughout the year …  Defeated Iowa State''s fifteenth-ranked Boaz Beard en route to a second place finish at the National Collegiate Open …  Placed second at both the Mat Town Open and East Stroudsburg Open …  Also took third at the Clarion Open, N.C. State Wolfpack Open, and the Cleveland State Open, respectively …  Registered a seventh place finish at the Nittany Lion Open …  Went 2-2 at the prestigious Midlands Tournament, defeating NCAA Qualifier Canaan Bethea of Pennsylvania in the process.
