NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion (0-3) men’s soccer team is set to host UAB (1-3) on Saturday, Sept. 14 at 7 p.m. ODU is looking to earn their first win of the season.
True freshman Djibril Doumbia has collected the second-most saves (17) in the league behind South Carolina. The Monarchs leading goal scorer is redshirt junior Deniz Dogan, who has collected two goals.
About the Blazers
UAB is coming off an overtime win against Milwaukee, which marked their first victory of the season. Last season, ODU downed the Blazers 2-0 and have never dropped a match to them through their 11 meetings.
VUVUZELA GIVEAWAY & SPIRIT CONTEST
The first 200 fans to enter the ODU Soccer Complex will be given a ODU soccer vuvuzela. Student organizations will enter in the ODU spirit contest at the student entrance gate. The top organization with the most spirit will win $500.

With a $25 purchase of the 2019 Soccer Voucher book, fans receive 20 ticket vouchers that can be used in any combination to gain entry to any men's or women's regular season game at the ODU Soccer Complex.
The vouchers can be redeemed in any quantity and represent a 75% savings over purchasing general admission tickets at the gate. In addition to entry to the games, the first 150 fans that purchase their ticket voucher books will receive an ODU soccer scarf.
