NORFOLK, Va. – The final ITA Men’s Tennis Rankings were released and Old Dominion was one of 42 programs to be represented on the team, singles and doubles rankings. In fact, the Tennis Monarchs were the only Conference USA team to be represented in all three categories.

As a team, ODU finished the season nationally ranked No. 66.

In singles, Aziz Kijametovic cracked the top 100, ending the year in the No. 97 spot.

In doubles, Kijametovic paired up with teammate Francois Musitelli as the No. 27 ranked tandem in the land.

“This shows the quality of our program to be represented in all three rankings,” explained Old Dominion head coach Dominik Mueller. “This is a testament to the fact that we challenge our guys with such a difficult schedule and tough opponents throughout the season. It is definitely an honor to be nationally recognized.”
