NEWPORT, R.I. - Old Dominion University women's sailing finished in 10th place at the Sperry Women's Semifinal Championship, just seven points behind ninth place Hobart and William Smith and just missing out on the Sperry Women's Championship on Thursday.
Due to a lack of wind in the afternoon, only five races were completed today. The Division A team of Olivia Windemuller, Julia Williams-Portland and Emily Harrison took 12th. Of the five races today, they took third in the second race of the day.
The Division B squad of Bridget Groble, Breanna Schultz, Makalynne Dyer and Abigail Tutt finished in sixth place. The group had four, top-five finishes today.
