NORFOLK, Va. -- Will Morgan launched a walk-off home run into the night sky in the 10th inning and Old Dominion defeated Marshall, 6-5, on Friday night in game one of the series at the Bud Metheny Complex.
Morgan, who graduates from ODU this weekend, belted a 1-1 fastball over the scoreboard in right center. It was the fourth walk-off win of the season for Old Dominion (30-18, 12-13).

That came after Marshall (24-24, 11-13) forced extra innings with a three-run rally in the ninth inning.
Postgame Interviews: Finwood | Morgan
Vinnie Pasquantino also had a big day offensively, going 3-for-4 with two home runs and three RBIs. Pasquantino now has six home runs in the last five games and 15 on the season.
Michael Blanchard earned his fourth win on the mound with 1.1 innings of shutout relief.
Tomorrow's game has been moved up to a 1 p.m. ET start.
ODU left-hander Jason Hartline (0-2, 4.37 ERA) is set to start against the Herd's righty Wade Martin (0-2, 7.24 ERA).
