NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men’s basketball head coach Jeff Jones announced the addition of Malik Curry and Jaylin Hunter to the 2019-20 roster. Curry, a 6-0 guard from Wilmington, Del. is a JUCO transfer with two years of eligibility remaining; while Hunter, a 6-2 guard from Manchester, Conn., will be an incoming freshman.
Jones on Curry:
“Malik is a dynamic playmaker that can score, as well as create opportunities for his teammates. His experience in junior college will help him make an immediate impact on our program.”
Jones on Hunter:
“Jaylin is a late bloomer, that has learned the game from some outstanding coaches including his father, Kenya. He is a highly skilled player that understands how to play the game the right way.”

-Helped lead East Catholic High School to a 27-1 record as senior.
-His father, Kenya Hunter, is an assistant coach at UCONN under Dan Hurley.
