CHANDLER, Ariz. -- The Old Dominion men's golf team finished 20th at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic this week at Whirlwind Golf Club in Chandler, Arizona.
ODU (+45) turned in a final round of 302 on Tuesday. No. 39 UCLA (-23) won the event.
Carter Morgan put the finishing touches on a fine tournament, carding a 1-under 71 in the final round to finish in a tie for 43rd. It marked the second time this spring that Morgan was the top-placing Monarch.
Rounding out the Old Dominion lineup were Gustav Fransson (+10; t-90th), Calvin Greschner (+14; t-103rd), Doug Rios Ceballos (+21; t-114th) and Michael Minnehan (+29; 119th). Minnehan was making his first appearance in the ODU starting five.
Up next, the Monarchs head to Raleigh for the Stitch Intercollegiate April 12-13.
