CHANDLER, Ariz. -- The Old Dominion men's golf team is set to compete in the Wyoming Cowboy Classic this week at Whirlwind Golf Club at Wild Horse Pass in Chandler, Arizona.

The tournament, hosted by the University of Wyoming, will feature 36 holes on Monday followed by the final 18-hole round on Tuesday.

ODU's starting lineup includes Calvin Greschner, Gustav Fransson, Carter Morgan, Doug Rios Ceballos and Michael Minnehan, who is making his first appearance in the starting five.

Of the teams competing in this year’s Cowboy Classic, the highest ranked teams according to the most recent GolfStat Rankings (April 2, 2019) are: UCLA (No. 39), Boise State (No. 63), Cal State Fullerton (No. 77) and Santa Clara (No. 78). 

The tournament will be held at the Cattail Course at Whirlwind, a 7,218-yard, par-72 course.

Old Dominion is the only east-coast school in the 20-team field.
