NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion (3-11, 0-2 Big East) lacrosse team fell to Villanova (8-5, 2-0 Big East) by a 17-10 final score. Glory Johnson scored a career-high seven goals on Saturday afternoon. 

The Monarchs got on the board first with a Johnson goal off a free position shot. Villanova answered with two-straight goals. MK Maloney and Johnson put up six more total before first half time expired. ODU led by two goals at the half. 

Johnson opened the second half with a goal off a pass sent from Claire Porter. Villanova proceeded to score six unanswered goals to take a 11-8 lead with 20 minutes remaining in regulation. 

Sophia Richie ended the Wildcats scoring run to get within two with just over 19 minutes to play. Johnson scored one more goal for ODU but Villanova's 12-goal second half was the difference. 

Defensively, Haleigh Wurzel made seven saves and picked up four groundballs. Senior Katie Miller made six turnovers against the Wildcats, while picking up five groundballs and two draw controls. 

During Johnson's career day, she also earned nine draw controls, two groundballs and one caused turnover. The New York native went four-for-four in free position shots.
