BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Another great offensive performance and another Conference USA series win for Old Dominion.
The Monarchs (26-16, 9-11) clinched the series at 28th-ranked Florida Atlantic (28-14, 14-6) with a 12-6 win on Saturday at the FAU Baseball Stadium.
It marks ODU's fourth straight series win and the first-ever series win over FAU. The Monarchs' last series win over a ranked team came against No. 16 Southern Miss in 2017.
Andy Garriola paced ODU's 15-hit offensive attack, going 3-for-6 with a triple, a home run and four RBIs. Matt Burch also homered, the first home run of his ODU career.

Six different Monarchs had multiple hits and eight players scored a run.
Tommy Bell went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI, Bryce Windham went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and Vinnie Pasquantino went 2-for-6 with two RBIs.
On the mound, Nick Pantos provided the Monarchs with a strong start, allowing three runs on two hits in 5.1 innings of work.
ODU goes for the series sweep tomorrow at noon. Ryne Moore (6-2, 4.09 ERA) is set to start for the Monarchs against FAU's Jacob Josey (0-0, 0.96 ERA).
