NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion rowing team is set to host George Mason on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.
ODU is hosting their first home event of the 2018-2019 season.
"I am very excited to get the 2019 campaign underway," said head coach Dan Garbutt. "The team and staff have put in a lot of hard work and the group is starting to come together. After a strong spring training trip we’re eager to host George Mason and kick off the spring racing season."
Last season, ODU defeated the Patriots in all four events at the ODU Invite last March.
"The team has worked hard this winter to get to where we are today, facing George Mason will be the start of a strong spring season," explains senior Irena Tobola. "I’m also excited for the final home race for our senior class, not only to be on our home course but to be competing in Norfolk in front of our friends, families, and team supporters!”
