Lacrosse Falls at Liberty, 14-8

LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Old Dominion (3-9) women's lacrosse team had their two-game win streak snapped at Liberty (8-2) after falling, 14-8. Glory Johnson scored four goals and added eight draw controls on Friday afternoon. 

ODU got off to a two-goal start off plays from Lauren Irvine and MK Maloney. The Flames answered with four-straight goals to take a 4-2 lead. Glory Johnson added two more before first half time expired. At the half, ODU trailed by two goals. 

Liberty outscored the Monarchs 8-4 in the second half. Lilly Siskind added a goal in the second half, while Johnson and Irvine netted goals for ODU. 

Defensively, Lauren Irvine and Anna Davis picked up three caused turnovers, while Alyssa Sebesto, Stephanie Allen and Katie Miller all caused two turnovers against the Flames. Haleigh Wurzel made six saves. 

Senior Sophia Richie also notched three draw controls and one assist.
