NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion baseball team will look to remain perfect in midweek games this season, when they host Princeton for a two-game set at the Bud Metheny Complex this week.
First pitch is slated for 3 p.m. ET on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Both games will be streamed on CUSA.tv.
The Monarchs are 4-0 in midweek action so far in 2019 with wins over VMI, Norfolk State, Campbell and William & Mary. ODU is also 11-4 at home.
Offensively, the Monarchs are hitting .296 as a team. Bryce Windham (.382, 9 RBI, 6-8 SB) leads the team in average, while Kyle Battle (.352, 2 HR, 18 RBI) and Andy Garriola (.313, 2 HR, 18 RBI) have been the top two run producers.
On the mound, Aaron Holiday (1-1, 3.38 ERA) is projected to make his first career start on Tuesday. Tommy Gertner (0-0, 0.87 ERA) is then expected to start on Wednesday, his fourth straight midweek start.

The Tigers are in the midst of a 7-games-in-6-days spring break trip. Princeton played a 4-game series at Georgetown over the weekend and play at Richmond on Monday. Two of the Tigers' three wins came over Georgetown. Series History: ODU leads the all-time series, 10-8.
