Men's Tennis Gets a Stab at No. 21 NC State on Sunday in Raleigh

NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men’s tennis team (4-2) will put its two-match win-streak on the line on Sunday, Feb 17 at 1:00 p.m. ET, when the Monarchs travel to Raleigh, N.C. for a stab at No. 21 nationally ranked N.C. State (6-2) at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center.

In the latest ITA rankings, ODU’s Aziz Kijametovic is ranked No. 93 for singles, while the Wolfpack’s Alexis Galarneau is the No. 45 ranked singles player in the country.

Kijametovic and teammate Francois Musitelli are the No. 25 nationally ranked doubles tandem.

Earlier this season at the ITA Kick-Off Weekend, NC State defeated then No. 12 ranked Georgia by a 4-3 score. The Wolfpack are 5-1 at home so far this season. Sunday afternoon will mark the Monarchs first true road match of this spring season.
