NORFOLK, Va. --
The Old Dominion women's basketball team hosts cross-town foe Norfolk State on Friday at 6:30 p.m. ET for the 2018-19 home opener at the Ted Constant Center.

The game will be streamed on CUSA.tv and aired on Famous 1310 AM radio, both featuring commentary from Doug Ripley and Susan Montgomery.

Old Dominion is coming off of an 83-59 victory at Campbell in Tuesday's season opener. The 83 points marked the most for ODU during head coach Nikki McCray-Penson's tenure. Last year, the Monarchs scored 70+ points just twice.

True freshman Ajah Wayne scored a game-high 22 points in the win, the most by a Monarch in their debut since Ashley Betz-White in 2011. Victoria Morris, Aziah Hudson and Amari Young also finished in double figures for ODU.

ABOUT NORFOLK STATE

The Spartans, who went 18-11 last year, were picked to finish fourth in the league's preseason poll.
