IRVING, Texas - For the second time this season and third time in his career, Isaiah Harper was named the Conference USA Special Teams Player of the Week.
A senior from Chesapeake, Harper returned a punt 74-yards for a touchdown in ODU's 77-14 win over VMI. The punt return is the longest in school history. Harper also had a 16-yard return and the 90 total punt return yards is a single-game ODU record.
Harper earned the award earlier in the year when he returned a missed field goal 83-yards to set up the game-winning field goal in the Monarchs' win at WKU.
Harper and the Monarchs finish the 2018 regular season on Saturday, Nov. 24 at Rice at 1 p.m. ET.
