CLEVELAND, Ohio – Seven Monarchs on the Old Dominion (0-1, 0-1 MAC) wrestling team are ranked in this months MAC Rankings. As a team, ODU remains second behind Missouri.
At 125 pounds, Michael McGee is the top ranked contender in the weight class. The 2018 NCAA Qualifier did not wrestle in the Monarchs first dual against Missouri but remains nationally ranked at No. 15 according to Trackwrestling rankings.
Sa’Derian Perry checks in at the second ranked spot at 141 pounds. Perry faced Missouri’s Jaydin Eierman this past Sunday and fell by pin in the third period. Nationally, Perry is ranked seventh in the country at the weight class.
After a close match to nationally ranked Grant Leeth, Kenan Carter is ranked at No. 3 in the MAC November rankings. Carter has a 3-2 record so far this season.
Collecting the only team win against No. 7 Missouri, Larry Early earns the top spot at 157 pounds. Early currently owns a 5-1 record.
At 165 pounds, Seldon Wright checks in at the second ranked spot behind Missouri’s Connor Flynn. Wright dropped a 10-2 major decision to Flynn on Sunday.
In the upper weights, Shane Jones ranks third at 174 pounds and Antonio Agee checks in at the fourth spot at 184 pounds.
