NORFOLK, Va. - After a two win week, men's soccer senior Max Wilschrey was named C-USA Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the league Monday afternoon. This is Wilschrey's second honor of the season.
Through two games, Wilschrey scored two goals and two assists. On Wednesday, the Monarchs faced William & Mary, where Wilschrey assisted twice in the 3-2 overtime win over the Tribe. On Saturday, Wilschrey scored two goals in the 4-1 conference win over FAU. The senior now has 10 goals this season, which ranks amongst the top 15 in the country. Wilschrey also leads the conference in points and goals.
The Monarchs face No. 3 UNC tomorrow at 7 p.m. at the ODU Soccer Complex.
