NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion (10-3-2, 6-1-0 C-USA) men’s soccer team, who has received votes the last two weeks were ranked No. 24 in the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll that was released Tuesday afternoon.
Last week, ODU defeated FIU, 3-0 to collect their third straight win and stay undefeated through six games. Ryan McLaughlin was named C-USA Co-Defensive Player of the Week after holding the FIU offense to just eight shots and helped lead the Monarchs to their fifth shutout. Max Wilschrey was named to the Top Drawer Men's Team of the Week after scoring one goal and one assist in the victory over FIU.
