NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion University football style guide has been released for the 2018 season. The style guide clues in the 12th Monarchs’ on what to wear to each of the six home games this season.
ODU’s home opener on Saturday, Sept. 8 against FIU will be a “White Out”, as voted on by the fans. The Monarchs’ home game on Sept. 22 against Virginia Tech will also be a “White Out”.
The October 13 contest against Marshall will be designated as “Blue Reign”, so wear your best navy Monarch gear. The same color scheme will be in effect for the following home game, the homecoming game on Saturday, Oct. 27 against Middle Tennessee.
ODU will kick off the November home slate with a “Black Out” on Nov. 10 against North Texas.
The final home game at the current Foreman Field at S.B. Ballard stadium is a fan’s choice. Fans should wear their favorite ODU colored apparel.
Fans can pick up this year’s football style guide at numerous locations including the athletic offices in the Jim Jarrett Building, at the pre-game tailgates on Kaufman Mall, and many local area businesses. Missing one of the colors in your wardrobe? The ODU Village Bookstore has you covered. The Bookstore has an assortment of apparel in each color available at their permanent location on Monarch Way. The Bookstore will also be stocked up on the designated color apparel for each game at their tent on Kaufman Mall prior to kickoff.
