NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University Fan Appreciation Night returns to Foreman Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. ODU students are encouraged to attend as part of Week of Welcome.
Come and watch the ODU Football team in their last scrimmage before their season opener at Liberty. The team will start scrimmaging at 7 p.m. with music from the Marching Monarchs. Following the scrimmage fans will be allowed on the field to experience running through the tunnel to the team’s new intro video. Fans can pick up their 2018 ODU Football team posters, magnets and schedule cards and have them signed at an autograph session that will complete the night.
Gates open at 6:45pm and fans should enter through Gate C and sit on the east stands. Ice cream and cake will be served to guests under the East grandstands. Fans can also check out the new seating models by Gate C that will be used in the new stadium, opening in 2019.
Fan Appreciation Day will be the first opportunity for 10-year season ticket holders to pick up their 10th anniversary coaster set and for members of the Big Blue Kid’s Club to pick up their membership packets.
Parking will be available in the Red Garage.
