ST. MARY’s, Md. – Old Dominion University sailing won for the second-straight weekend, winning the America Trophy Championship over the weekend in St. Mary’s.
ODU defeated second place St. Mary’s by 25 points and third place Hobart and William by 33 points.
The Division A squad of Jeremy Herrin and Carter Little finished in sixth place, notching eight top-five finishes and three race wins.
The Division B team of Jack Elkin, Stephen Guglielmo and Gavin Burkhart cruised to a 25 point win in the division, including 15 top-five finishes, and seven race wins. The trio won four-straight races to end the day, and five of the final six races.
