TEXARKANA, Ark. -- The Old Dominion men's golf team travels to Texarkana, Arkansas, this week for the Conference USA Championship at Texarkana Country Club.
Live scoring for the event will be on GolfStat.
The championship is four days, with 18 holes scheduled for the first three days. After 54 holes of stroke play, the top four teams would be seeded and will conclude the championship on the fourth day with a match play playoff.
The winner gains the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.
Last year, the Monarchs finished 12th and were led by Nick Rencis, who placed fifth individually and earned All-Tournament Team honors.
Texarkana CC is a Par-72, 6,696-yard course. Highlights of the course include gentle and subtle elevation changes, a beautiful lake on the front nine, meandering creeks on the back nine, tree-lined fairways and abundant sand and grass bunkers. At one time, Hole #14 was considered one of the top eighteen holes in the country and this beautiful dogleg-right par 4 is now referred to as “The All-American Hole.”
