NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion men's golf team heads to south central North Carolina for the Pinehurst Intercollegiate this weekend at the Pinehurst No. 8 Course.
The tournament begins on Friday and concludes on Sunday with 18 holes each day.

The Monarchs are coming off of a ninth-place finish earlier this week at the Fort Lauderdale Intercollegiate. Nick Rencis led ODU at that event, tying for fourth individually.
Last year, ODU had one of its best performances of the 2016-17 season at Pinehurst, finishing in a tie for second. Chad Hess notched a top-10 finish in the event, tying for seventh.
The Pinehurst Intercollegiate is an annual invitational championship of Division I collegiate teams. The Pinehurst Intercollegiate is a 20-year tradition at Pinehurst.
