PINEHURST, N.C. -- The Old Dominion men's golf team sits atop of the leaderboard through 36 holes at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate at the Pinehurst No. 8 Course.
The Monarchs (+27) carded an 11-over 295 as a team on Saturday, the lowest round of any team in the field, to climb from third to first. ODU sits two strokes ahead of second-place Radford (+29).
Individually, Calvin Greschner (+3) moved from 23rd to second place with a two-under 69, the best round of any individual. Gustav Fransson (+4) sits right behind Greschner and is tied for third.
Nick Rencis (+12) and Michael Bakker (+12) are tied for 35th and Chad Hess (+14) is tied for 47th.
The tournament concludes tomorrow with the final 18 holes.
