ATHENS, Ga. – Old Dominion University men’s swimming and diving finished in second place at the CCSA Championships, while Parker Harp was named the Freshman of the Championship and Carol Withus was named Co-Head Coach of the Year.
Ethan Apisa started the Monarchs on the right track on Saturday, breaking the CCSA record with an NCAA B-Cut time of 15:24.78 to win the 1650 freestyle.
Anton Mikaelsson added a third place finish in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:47.37.
Harp added to his solid week with a second place spot in the 100 freestyle with a time of 44.95, just .04 out of first.
Nick Wukovits earned ODU’s second race win of the day, notching a victory in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 1:56.64.
The Monarchs place third in the final event of the meet, with a time of 3:01.02 in the 400 freestyle relay.
