ATHENS, Ga. - Parker Harp won the 50 freestyle by .03 seconds and the Monarchs picked up a trio of second place finishes on Thursday night at the CCSA Championships. ODU sits in second place with 305 points, 19 points behind Incarnate Word.
Freshman Ethan Apisa started the night for ODU with a second place finish in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:27.86.
Senior Anton Mikaelsson added another second place, this one in the 200 IM with a time of 1:48.45, just .21 off of first place. His time was an NCAA B-cut time.
Harp's victory was in the third race of the night as he edged Eli Coan of Gardner-Webb.
Cory Moreno added a third place finish in the 3-meter dive with a score of 321.55. His score qualifies him for the NCAA Zones.
In the final event of the day, ODU took second in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:22.19.
