NORFOLK, Va. --
The Old Dominion women's basketball team closes out its non-conference slate with a road contest at Hampton on Monday at 7 p.m. at the Hampton University Convocation Center.

The game will be aired locally on ESPN 94.1 radio featuring commentary from Doug Ripley. Tickets are available for purchase here

The Monarchs are 2-0 against the MEAC this season, earning victories over Coppin State and South Carolina State at home.

Monday's game will be the third in five days for Old Dominion (2-15, 0-4 C-USA), who dropped a pair of road C-USA contests at North Texas and UTSA over the weekend.

In Old Dominion's last game, a 64-56 loss at UTSA on Saturday, bench players Kelly Loftus and Taylor Edwards had standout performances. Loftus scored a team-high 18 points, including five threes, while Edwards posted her second double-double of the season with 11 points and 13 rebounds.

Overall, Victoria Morris and Odegua Oigbokie lead the team in scoring and both average over 11 points per game.

ODU has never lost to Hampton and leads the all-time series, 6-0. Last year, the Monarchs pulled out a 61-58 victory at home over a Lady Pirate squad that went on to win the MEAC and advance to the NCAA Tournament.

Against schools from the commonwealth of Virginia, Old Dominion is 370-99 all-time, equaling a 78.9% winning percentage.

ABOUT HAMPTON
Hampton (5-9, 2-0 MEAC) enter Monday on a three-game winning streak including a pair of wins over UMES and Delaware State to start MEAC play. The Lady Pirates play an aggressive press defense and force over 21 turnovers per game. Senior guard Allina Starr, a transfer from Minnesota, leads the team in scoring at nearly 12 points per game.
