NORFOLK, Va. -- Following a four-game roadstand, the Old Dominion women's basketball team returns to the Ted Constant Center this weekend for a matchup against South Carolina State on Saturday at 2 p.m.
The game will be streamed live on CUSA.tv and can also be heard locally on ESPN Radio 94.1
Old Dominion (1-11) last played at home on Dec. 3, when the Monarchs fell to Cincinnati. ODU's lone win of the season came at home, when the Monarchs defeated Coppin State, 75-67, on Education Day.
Freshman guard Victoria Morris and senior forward Odegua Oigbokie are both averaging double figures for the Monarchs. Oigbokie is coming off of a career performance in the last game against Abilene Christian in which she scored a career-high 25 points on 10-of-15 shooting.
ODU and SC State have met once previously, when the Monarchs defeated the Lady Bulldogs, 79-63, in 2012.
ABOUT SOUTH CAROLINA STATE
SC State (5-6) is coming off of a 64-49 loss at Charlotte on Thursday. The Lady Bulldogs have won three of their last five games and are holding opponents to 56 points per game. Preseason All-MEAC selection Bryeasha Blair leads the team in scoring with 12.4 points per game.
