Wukovits Leads ODU at Day One of Bucknell Invitational

NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University swimming and diving lost a pair of close meets on Saturday, as the men fell to UMBC 164-133, while the women fell 161-134 at the JC Scrap Chandler Pool.

Nick Wukovits led the way for the ODU men with a pair of wins, winning the 100 breaststroke in 56.20 and the 200 breaststroke in 2:05.49. Cory Moreno was also a souble winner, taking the 1 meter dive with a score of 284.9, and the 3 meter dive with a total of 308.8.

For the women, Leigh Ann Clark won the 50 freestyle in 24.74.

Jacklyn VandePoel continued her solid fall with a win in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:23.27, while Emilie Petit won the 200 IM in 2:08.88. Ashley Brem had the final win of the day for ODU in the 200 breaststroke, winning in a time of 2:23.27.
