CORNELL, N.Y. - Old Dominion University competed in three events over the weekend, including a weekend best sixth place finish at the Susan Rogers Memorial at Cornell.
At the Susan Rogers Memorial, the Monarchs took sixth place with the group of Olivia Windemuller, Emily Harrison, Makalynne Dryer, Bridget Groble and Jocelyn Rovniak. The Division A squad of Windemuller, Harrison and Dryer finished in seventh, with a pair of top-five finishes, including a top finish of second. The Division B boat of Groble and Rovniak took third, placing six top-five finishes and two second place races.
At the Danmark Trophy ODU finished in eight place. Jeremy Herrin and Carter Little led the Division A boat with an eighth place spot, earning eight top-10's and a top race finish of second. Jack Elkin and Elle Wells notched a 10th place spot in Division B. They had eight top-10's and three third place races.
Lastly, ODU competed at the Tom Curtis Memorial Regatta, finishing in ninth and 11th position. Kyle Mergenthaler and Breanna Schultz had four top-10 finishes to place ninth overall, while Alec Chicoine and Abigail Tutt had four top-10's and finished 11th overall.
