IRVING, Texas - Old Dominion University junior swimmer Ashley Brem was named the Conference USA Swimmer of the Week, C-USA announced on Wednesday.
A native of Cleveland, Texas, Brem went 4-for-4 over the weekend, winning all four individual races she participated in. She won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:05.20, and the 200 breaststroke in 2:21.81 against UNCW.
She improved her time in the 100 breaststroke against Gardner-Webb and Campbell with a time of 1:04.99, and recorded a 2:22.31 in the 200 breaststroke.
Anton Mikaelsson of the men's squad was named the CCSA Swimmer of the week on Tuesday.
