NORFOLK, Va. – For the second consecutive season,Adam Moundir of the Old Dominion men's tennis team was named to the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) All-State First Team for singles, while teammate Javier Jover Maestre garnered second team honors. Together, Moundir and Jover Maestre were also named to the All-State Second Team for doubles.

Moundir also repeated as the Conference USA Player of the Year this past season. He became the first player at ODU since 2009 to qualify for the NCAA Tournament. Moundir was named the Most Outstanding Singles Player of the Conference USA Tournament, as well as Most Outstanding Doubles Team of the C-USA Tournament. The Luzern, Switzerland-native was also named to the All-Conference First Team for singles and for doubles, as well as garnered All-Academic Team accolades for his work in the classroom and was C-USA Honor Roll honoree for his cumulative GPA during the academic year.

Moundir finished season nationally ranked No. 50 for singles, while enjoying a season high ranking of 18. He posted a 17-4 dual match record, with all of his matches being played at the No. 1 position. He went undefeated (6-0) in conference play in singles and undefeated (5-0) in doubles against conference foes.

Javier Jover Maestre (Madrid, Spain) was named to the All-Conference USA First Team for doubles and garnered All C-USA Second Team for singles. He and teammate, Adam Moundir, were named the Most Outstanding Doubles Team of the C-USA Tournament. Jover Maestre compiled a team best dual match record of 18-3 (won 86% of his matches), with 14 of those wins coming in straight sets. He enjoyed a season-best-ten-match winning streak from February 10 to April 9. The Madrid, Spain-native went 5-1 in conference singles play and 5-0 in conference doubles play.
