OAK RIDGE, Tenn. – The Old Dominion rowing team fell to Tennessee and Alabama in the Big 12 Double Duals hosted by Tennessee in Oak Ridge, Tennessee on Saturday, April 8.
The Lady Monarchs competed in four races during two sessions, each including three Varsity 8+ races and one Varsity 4+.
Old Dominion’s closest race of the day came during the second session against Alabama, when the first varsity 8+ boat for the Lady Monarchs (6:47.2) finished two/tenths of a second slower than the Crimson Tide (6:47.0).
The 1st V8+ boat raced Tennessee the closest finishing 10.5 seconds slower than the Volunteers in the final race of the session.
