ATHENS, Ga. -- The Old Dominion women's golf team dropped a heartbreaker vs. No. 89 Troy in the final day of the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic hosted by the University of Georgia.
In their lone match of the day Sunday, the No. 59 Monarchs fell in a close battle against the Trojans, 3-2. Winning their individual matches were Sana Tufail and Charlotte De Corte. It was De Corte's second match play victory of the event.
ODU gets right back to work tomorrow, Monday, as the Monarchs commence action at the Brickyard Collegiate in Macon, Georgia from April 10-11.
