MURFREESBORO, Tenn. --
Old Dominion concludes its season-long five-game road trip with a Conference USA series at Middle Tennessee this weekend at MTSU's Reese Smith, Jr. Field. First pitch is set for 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT on Friday, 5 p.m. ET/4 p.m. CT on Saturday and 1 p.m. ET/12 p.m. CT on Sunday.

All three games will be aired on STAR 1310 radio featuring commentary from Doug Ripley. Live stats will also be provided at GoBlueRaiders.com.

Old Dominion (22-8, 7-2 C-USA) enters the weekend a game out of first place in the C-USA standings, trailing 8-1 and No. 17-ranked Southern Miss. The Monarchs are coming off of a pair of midweek losses at No. 18 Virginia and VMI, but have yet to lose a weekend series this season.

The Monarchs are scoring 7.2 runs per game, which ranks fourth in C-USA and 34th in the nation, and posted 10 or more runs for the eighth time this season against VMI. Freshman Vinnie Pasquantino leads the club with a .363 average and owns a 16-game hitting streak heading into the weekend. Zach Rutherford, Kyle Battle and Jared Young are also batting over .300, while Battle has driven in a team-high 26 RBIs.

ODU's weekend rotation of seniors Sam Sinnen and Adam Bainbridge and freshman John Wilson have a combined record of 12-2 and all three starters have an ERA below 4.00. Bainbridge, the reigning C-USA Pitcher of the Week, is 6-1 with a 1.31 ERA and has thrown eight or more innings in three straight starts.

Middle Tennessee (14-15, 3-6 C-USA) is coming off of its first C-USA series win of the season last weekend, as the Blue Raiders won 2-of-3 against Marshall in Charleston. MTSU opened its conference slate by getting swept at Florida Atlantic and then dropping 2-of-3 to WKU at home. Overall, MTSU is hitting .275 as a team and has a club ERA of 6.82.

Offensively, MTSU is led by Riley Delgado, who is the only Blue Raider hitting above .300 with a .325 average. Delgado and Austin Dennis both have a team-high 12 extra-base hits, while Dennis leads the club in home runs with three and RBIs with 25.

On the mound, lefty Cody Puckett, last weekend's Sunday starter, has the lowest ERA among starters with a 3.18 ERA, while Friday starter Jake Wyrick leads the team in victories with a 3-1 record.

Middle Tennessee leads the all-time series, 8-4, but the Monarchs won 2-of-3 against MTSU last season.
