IRVING, Texas – Ingrid Vojcinakova, Borislava Botusharova and Holly Hutchinson were all named to the All-Conference USA Singles First Team on Friday afternoon, as voted on by the leagues head coaches. Vojcinakova and Hutchinson also teamed up to garner All-Doubles Second Team honors.
Old Dominion's three student-athletes on the All C-USA Singles First Team was tied with Conference USA champions Rice for the most of any school in the conference.
Vojcinakova (?ilina, Slovakia) ended her senior campaign playing No. 1 singles for the Lady Monarchs. She also went 2-0 at the No. 1 doubles slot with partner Holly Hutchinson, while the two posted a 4-4 overall record in doubles. Vojcinakova compiled an overall singles record of 10-4 and competed at all spots within the Old Dominion lineup.
Botusharova (Pazardzhik, Bulgaria) was nationally ranked in singles all season. She played No. 1 and No. 2 singles during the spring and compiled an 11-3 record. She was 7-3 at No. 1 position and 4-0 at No. 2 position. She delivered the deciding point during the First Round of the C-USA Tournament match against UAB. Botusharova ended the season nationally ranked No. 98.
Hutchinson (Middlesex, England) was nationally ranked in singles all year and was also the highest ranked freshman in Conference USA for the entire season. In the fall, she defeated the No. 11 nationally ranked singles player, Sydney Campbell, of Vanderbilt.
Hutchinson's highest singles ranking was No. 57, according to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). She played No. 1 and No. 2 singles during her freshman season and compiled a 10-5 record. The Middlesex, England-native was 4-4 at the No. 1 position and 6-1 at No. 2 position. Hutchinson was part of the No. 1 doubles team with three different partners throughout the season and accumulated a 7-5 record.
