NORFOLK, Va. -- 
Old Dominion welcomes LA Tech to the Bud Metheny Complex this weekend for a Conference USA matchup between a pair of 20-win teams. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. on Friday, 4 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday.

Friday's game will be streamed on ESPN3 and Saturday and Sunday will be on CUSA.tv. The Friday game will include the Big Blue 5K Packet Pickup in Rally Alley, while the game on Easter Sunday will feature a Easter Egg Hunt in Rally Alley along with Easter basket giveaways. 

Old Dominion (25-9, 9-3 C-USA) enters the weekend in a tie with Florida Atlantic for second in the conference standings, one game behind first-place and 16th-ranked Southern Miss. The Monarchs are scoring 7.1 runs per game, which ranks in the top 40 in the country and fourth in C-USA. On the mound, ODU ranks second in league play with a 3.61 ERA, while opponents are hitting just .237 against the Monarchs in C-USA games.

Individually, Jared Young has been one of the hottest hitters in the country. The junior second baseman, who earned his second C-USA Hitter of the Week honor in the last three weeks on Monday, owns a slash line of .643/.667/1.321 with four doubles, five home runs and 11 RBIs in the last six games.

Vinnie Pasquantino leads four Monarchs hitting above .300 with a .362 average, while Kyle Battle and Zach Rutherford are tied for the team lead in RBIs with 29. Senior lefty Adam Bainbridge has been the Monarchs' top starter so far this season. Bainbridge, the Saturday starter, is 6-1 with a 1.14 ERA, while freshman John Wilson, the Sunday starter, is 5-1 with a 3.53 ERA. Sam Sinnen is projected to start for ODU on Friday.

LA Tech (21-12, 4-8 C-USA) is coming off of winning 2-of-3 at Rice last weekend. The Bulldogs are hitting .298 as a club with 35 home runs and have a team ERA of 4.14. Brent Diaz and Sean Ullrich both enter the weekend with averages of .348, which leads the team, and leadoff man Jordan Washam is hitting .331 with nine stolen bases and a league-high 41 runs scored.

On the mound, Friday starter Casey Sutton is 4-2 with a 6.26 ERA and Nate Harris, who began the year as the team's closer, has started the last two weekends and has thrown consecutive complete games. Overall, Harris is 4-0 with a 0.60 ERA and eight saves on the year. 

ODU leads the all-time series against LA Tech, 6-3, and swept the Bulldogs the last time the two teams met in Norfolk in 2015.

BASEBALL VOUCHER BOOKS
Baseball voucher books can be purchased here for $50 and contain a total of 36 ticket vouchers. The ticket vouchers can be used at any of the 36 home ODU baseball games this season, including the Harbor Park game against Virginia Tech and the Key Dog Classic against VCU on May 10 at the Bud Metheny Complex.
