NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women’s tennis team (8-4) defeated Western Michigan (5-7) by a 5-1 score on Monday afternoon at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center. ODU is now 6-1 at home this season.
Old Dominion will return to action next week for three home matches, as two of the opponents are currently nationally ranked. First on Monday, March 13, ODU will host No. 47 Iowa at 12:30 p.m. On Tuesday, March 14 at 3:30 p.m., the Lady Monarchs will welcome No. 50 Oklahoma to the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center. Finally, on Sunday, Mar 19, Old Dominion will take on Conference USA foe Marshall at 11:00 a.m. Admission for all matches for everyone is free.
