NORFOLK, Va. -- Following Tuesday's extra-inning road victory at VCU, Old Dominion returns to the Bud Metheny Complex to host Rutgers in a three-game series this weekend. First pitch is slated for 3 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday. All three games will be streamed live on CUSA.tv.
Old Dominion (6-1) welcomes Rutgers (2-5) to The Bud for the 22nd consecutive season. The two teams have squared off in an early-season series in every season since 1997.
The Monarchs have opened the season winning six of their seven games with the only loss coming to Kentucky. The last three ODU victories have all been by one run, including a 7-6 walk-off win over Saint Joseph's in the Monarchs' last home game on Feb. 26.
Rutgers opened the season with a pair of road trips against top-ranked ACC foes. The Scarlet Knights went 1-2 at No. 17 Miami (FL), before getting swept at No. 13 Virginia. Rutgers then defeated Wagner, 9-2, in a midweek game on Tuesday.
Two-time Second Team All-Conference USA selection Sam Sinnen is projected to return to his role as the Friday starter after pitching the opening two weekends out of the bullpen. Adam Bainbridge, who is 2-0 with an 0.90 ERA in two starts, will be the Saturday starter, followed by freshman John Wilson on Sunday.
The Scarlet Knights lead the all-time series, 34-23. However, the Monarchs have won two out of three against Rutgers in three consecutive years.

BASEBALL VOUCHER BOOKS
Baseball voucher books can be purchased here for $50 and contain a total of 36 ticket vouchers. The ticket vouchers can be used at any of the 36 home ODU baseball games this season, including the Harbor Park game against Virginia Tech and the Key Dog Classic against VCU on May 10 at the Bud Metheny Complex.
