NORFOLK, Va. – The ODU lacrosse team wraps up their opening five-game road trip on Saturday, March 4, as they travel to Lynchburg, Va. to take on the Flames of Liberty University. First draw is scheduled for 12 noon at the Liberty Lacrosse Field.

The Lady Monarchs have dropped their last two contests, the most recent being at Richmond 11-8 on Wednesday, March 1.
- Seven different athletes scored eight goals for ODU in the game on Wednesday, led by Connor Carson with two.
- 12 of the 20 athletes who have seen action this season have scored one or more goals. Sophomore Sophia Richie has a team-high seven goals followed by Carson with six.
- Carson leads the Lady Monarchs in points with eight on six goals and two assists.
- Megan Topper and Morgan Marrale are tied for first with a team-high four assists.
- Alyssa Sebesto and Natalie Ledwitz lead the team in ground balls with nine each. Carson is close behind with seven this season.
- Ledwitz also leads ODU in draw controls with 14 and caused turnovers with 10. She is second in the conference and 21st nationally with 2.50 caused turnovers per game.
- Maggi Buckley tied her season high saves of 12 at Richmond. In the last two games she has collected 24 saves.
- Buckley leads the ASUN (18th nationally) with 42 saves and is second in the conference with a 0.477 save percentage.
Liberty (1-4, 0-0 Big South)
Liberty has lost their last three games heading into Saturday’s game. Their most recent loss came against Navy 20-4 on February 25.
- The Flames have been outscored 80-31, a goal differential of 49 goals, this season. Opponents have scored 53 goals in the last three games.
- Hannah Quast has a team-high seven goals for the Flames while Brianna McCaffrey and Kayla Foster are tied second with five goals each.
- Katherine Widrick and Aubrie Tarris have split time in goal for the Flames and have given up a combined 80 goals.
Series History
The two teams have only met twice to date with ODU taking the victory in both games. In the most recent encounter on March 5, 2016, the Lady Monarchs emerged with the 12-8 win at the L.R. Hill Complex in Norfolk, Va.
