NORFOLK, Va. – ODU women’s soccer head coach Angie Hind announced the addition of Kasey Perry to the Lady Monarchs roster for the 2017 season on Friday afternoon. Perry is a goalkeeper who reigns from Centerville, Ohio.

“We are excited to welcome Kasey to our program and 2017 incoming class,” said Hind. “As a goalkeeper she has great presence and uses her size so well to influence the game. We want to strengthen in all areas across the field and bringing in a keeper like Kasey means we also have a very strong goalkeeping pool now, which is a key area that we have been looking to build. She is a player that is smart, can be a great presence in the air and has great potential to grow even further within this environment. We are very excited to add Kasey to the team and welcome her to our Monarch family.”

Perry attended Centerville High School, where she garnered First Team All-Miami Valley, Defensive Player of the Year, First Team National League GWOC and All-State Scholar Athlete honors.

“I chose Old Dominion because I really enjoyed the school's atmosphere from the moment I first visited,” said Perry. “The campus is beautiful and seemed like the perfect school for me. Talking to Angie and Lucas [Zicher] felt easy and natural so I knew I'd really enjoy playing for them.”
