DOVER, Del. -- Over a dozen Old Dominion wrestlers will be in action this Sunday, Feb. 26 at the 2017 National Collegiate Open (NCO) at Dover High School in Dover, Delaware. The 9th Annual NCO will be streamed live on FloWrestling, as wrestlers from across the nation will battle to become National Collegiate Open All-Americans.
Last season, ODU crowned three All-Americans at the tournament, as Steven Simpson claimed second place at 125, Alex Madrigal took fifth at 133 and Michael Hayes was the runner-up at 141.
The Monarchs will send: Connor Wallace (133), Jaquan Loney (133), Kenan Carter (141), Tanner Stephens (149), Chris Mauriello (157), Will Verallis (157), Shane Jones (157), Abner Romero (165), Dean Drugac (165), Luke Drugac (174), Terrell Forbes (174), Kaleab Fetahi (174), Connor Frey (184) and Ali Wahab (285) to this year's NCO.
