In late January, Early captured the 157 lb. crown at the App State Open, going 4-0 with wins over two opponents from App State and two foes from Virginia Tech en route to the title.

Also appearing in this week's national rankings, Jack Dechow retained a top-10 ranking across all five major polls, coming in at No. 8 according to FloWrestling, Trackwrestling and WIN while checking in at No. 9 in the InterMat and The Open Mat polls.

Kevin Beazley also remained in the top 20 in all five polls, as the redshirt junior is ranked as high as No. 12 by WIN and No. 14 by InterMat at 197 lbs.

As a team, ODU is ranked No. 32 nationally according to WIN and No. 33 by Trackwrestling.

The Monarchs return home to wrestle Ohio this Friday, Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. before heading to Washington, D.C. to take on American on Sunday at noon.
