NORFOLK, Va. -- 
The Old Dominion women's basketball team travels to East Tennessee State for its non-conference finale on Wednesday, Dec. 28, at 7 p.m. at the J. Madison Brooks Gymnasium in Johnson City, Tennessee.

The game will be streamed live on ESPN3 and can also be heard on ESPN Radio 94.1 featuring commentary from Doug Ripley.

Old Dominion (5-5, 0-0 C-USA) will look to end its two-game losing skid after falling to No. 19/16 Syracuse and Dayton last week at the Florida Sunshine Classic. Senior co-captains Jennie Simms and Destinee Young have led the Lady Monarchs through the first 10 games. Simms leads Conference USA and is second in the NCAA in scoring at 25.8 points per game, while Young is averaging a double-double with 11.1 points and 10.5 rebounds.

Reserves Gianna Smith, who is second on team in scoring with 6.4 points, and Keyana Brown, who scored a team-high 14 points against Syracuse, have helped the ODU bench outscore its opponent's in three straight games. As a team, the Lady Monarchs are shooting 42.4 percent and own a +4.8 rebounding margin and have outrebounded their opponent in seven of the 10 games.

East Tennessee State (7-7, 0-0 SoCon) is coming off of a 1-1 performance at the Miami Holiday Classic. The Buccaneers are led by Tianna Tarter, who ranks 19th in the country in scoring with 20.2 points per game. As a team, ETSU is shooting 38.1 percent, but rank fifth in the country in total free throws attempted.

The all-time series between ODU and ETSU is tied at 1-1.
