IRVING, TEXAS - Old Dominion University sophomore swimmer Emilie Petit was named the Conference USA Swimmer of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
Petit notched a pair of individual triumphs this past weekend en route to the first win of the season for the Lady Monarchs. The sophomore posted a meet-best 2:08.22 in the 200 Butterfly, while also notching a victory in the 200 Individual Medley. Her time of 2:08.54 in the 200 IM bested second place by more than four seconds. This is Petit’s first C-USA weekly award of her career.
