NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University swimming and diving swept Georgetown on Saturday at the J.C. Scrap Chandler Pool. The women won 162-137, while the men defeated the Hoyas 172-111.

The women started off the meet with a win in the 200 medley relay, as Colleen VandePoel, Ashley Brem, Emilie Petit and Sofie Sjoberg put together a time of 1:46.21.

Stephanie Norris was one of three Lady Monarchs to pick up multiple wins, winning the 200 free in a time of 1:54.94 and the 100 free in 53.46.

Colleen VandePoel won the 100 backstroke in a time of 56.44 and the 200 backstroke in a time of 2:06.27.

Emilie Petit was the third swimmer to win multiple events, taking the 100 fly and the 200 IM.

ODU won the final race, the 400 free relay, with the team of Sjoberg, Colleen VandePoel, Norris and LeighAnn Clark.

The men also started the meet with a win in the 200 medley relay, as Donovan Pope, Philip Nordenberg, Connor Davis and Graham Thatcher finished with a time of 1:34.55.

Lucas Oliviera won a pair of events, the 1000 free with a time of 9:52.46, and the 500 free in 4:47.41.

Anton Mikaelsson was a three event winner, victorious in the 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke, and 200 IM.

Jacob Zeidler won the 100 breastroke whole Nordenberg took the 200 breaststroke.

Graham Thatcher won both the 50 and 100 free, with times of 21.26 and 46.95, respectively.

Cory Moreno won the 3-meter dive with a score of 333.45.
