PHILADELPHIA -- The 13th-ranked Old Dominion field hockey team (6-5, 2-1 BIG EAST) will head to Philadelphia this Friday, Oct. 7 for a 1:30 p.m. game against BIG EAST foe Temple (4-8, 1-2 BIG EAST).

ODU enters Friday's conference game after falling to seventh-ranked Maryland Tuesday evening, 2-1. The Lady Monarchs played the Terrapins to an even halftime score of 1-1, tying the game in the 34th minute off an unassisted goal from Danielle Grega, but Maryland was able to find the game-winner in the second half. 

Through 11 games, Grega leads the Lady Monarchs in scoring with 13 points off six goals and one assist. Megan Byas, Casey Dolan and Erin Huffman each have four goals to their credit. 

Goalkeeper Kealsie Robles has played every minute in the cage for ODU, registering 49 saves, a .710 save percentage and one shutout. On Tuesday, Robles made 10 saves against No. 7 Maryland. 

The Temple Owls (4-8, 1-2 BIG EAST) enter Friday's game on a three-game winning streak after beating Holy Cross, Georgetown and Sacred Heart in their last three outings. 

The Owls are led in scoring by Rachael Mueller, who has racked up seven goals, while Maddie Merton and Katie Foran have each recorded four. 

Goalkeeper Maddie Lillock has started in all 12 games for Temple, making 94 saves on the season. 

Temple head coach Marybeth Freeman is a 2003 graduate of Old Dominion and was the goalkeeper for the Lady Monarchs' 1998 and 2000 teams that captured national titles.
